I could never say this as eloquently, but I share   your defiant spirit. For some reason it reminds me of Edward Hopper&#039;s paintings of people waiting for a train, sitting in an audience before the curtain rises, an movie usher napping at her post. I guess what I am trying to get at is that Romance Readers and women&#039;s media is rendered invisible, or worthy of scorn. Hopper had us look at those invisible moments, everyday events, forcing us to value them. Maybe that is why Hopper is the favorite of so many women I know.</description>
